Someday

verse 1
Great is Your name its the sound of my hope
Reaching the highest of love ever known
From the depths of the seas to the highest of mountains
I will shout from the top of my lungs

chorus
Someday...  I'll stand by Your side
Someday...  I'll hold Your hand

verse 2
You woke up the sound of the music in my heart
You woke up my soul been asleep from the start
Now i realize where my life is running
I'm running to You

bridge
A heavenly kiss
I never felt like this before
A heavenly bliss
I knew that you'll open the door
So i reach out to you

refrain
(This moment i'm waitin, i'm dreamin forever)
(Standin' right next to you holdin your hand)
(The moment i'm longing, i'll cherish forever)
(Standin there face to face holding your hand)

~ This song simply tells the longing to be with God in heaven someday.
Someday we have to be there see Him face to face. Forever and ever...

A Man's Deepest Question

A Father and a son went up rock climbing and the son had a fear reaching top afraid that he won't make it again. With gentle reassurance, the father told him to head back down and that he knew another one that might be more fun. "No," the son said, "I want to do this." the father understood.

There comes a time when we simply have to face the challenges in our lives and stop backing down.

So the father helped him up the overhang with a bit of a boost, and on the son went up with greater speed and confidence. With the father's  advice and exhortations the son sailed right over the challenging spots. A few more moves and he would be at the top. "Way to go son. You're a wild man!" the father shouted. The son finished the climb and finally made it to the top. As the son walked down from the back side the father began to clipped in his other son for a climb. Ten or 15 minutes passed, and the story was forgotten to the father. But not the son. While the father was coaching his other son up the rock, the son sort of sidled up to the father and in a quiet voice asked, "Dad... did you really think I was a wild man up there?"

There's something you can see in the boy's heart. Something unleashed. Something wild. It's not a question -- its the question, the one every boy and man is longing to ask.

Do I have what it takes?
Am I powerful?

Until a man knows he's a man he will forever be trying to prove he is one, while at the same time shrinking from anything that might reveal he is not. Most men live their lives haunted by the question, or crippled by the answer they've been given.

What kind of answers did you receive from your questions lately? Do you feel like being crippled from it?
What is that rock in your life that is challenging to climb and that you're backing down?
Time to face it. God gives us the strength and enough for us to see the masculinity in us. You're a man and not trying to prove it. Don't shrink. Prove it.

Philippians 4:13"I can do everything through him who gives me strength"------ excerpt from the book "Wild at Heart"

Safe

[chorus]
You show me the way where I will be safe
the darkness will fade for You placed a light
in the core of my heart and knew from the start
that my life will be forever with you in a harmony

[verse 1 Obscurity]
I've been walking through
this long and winding road
what's ahead is hard to see
and the future's a mystery
but Your will I depend
I'll see You in the end

[verse 2 Solitude]
When I am alone with no one to console
the loud silence in the place
I'll still be off'rin' You my praise
I'll stand on my own
I'll sing You my song

[verse 3 Monotony]
I could be running circles over and over again
as long as it's for You, O King
in the end I know You'll bring
all this sacrifice into paradise

[bridge Reality]
When no one even dares
or show You that they care
then I'll be the one
I'll be the one...

***This is like the life of David; How God trained David to become the man He was ~ The man after God's own heart. This is the method God used training His servants. Being capable of doing the little things will prove ourselves to be capable of doing the big things. Learn to King it! like David did. David gave himself to God despite all the challenges he had but still in God's arms, in the end, he was SAFE.

As disciples, we can go through this:
1.Obscurity
  • absence of light ~ unknown
  • If you wanna be used by God, you gotta learn to close your eyes and trust God
  • strange as it may seem those who first accept the silence of obscurity are best qualified to handle the applause of popularity
  • You will be tested if you really love God

2.Solitude
  • Praising God alone ~ Quiet Times
  • Nature as a nurse and companion
  • When bored, then pray
  • Sing for God

3.Monotony
  • Faithful with the little things
  • Life without break
  • Being faithful in the menial, insignificant, routine, regular, unexciting, uneventful, daily task of life

4.Reality
  • overcoming difficult challenges in life resulting in having a great Obscurity, Solitude, and Monotony life
  • The conversion of the soul is the miracle of a moment, the manufacture of a saint(great leader/disciple) is the task of a lifetime

Night Spark

night's so fine, stayed outside
fireflies played in my eyes
i'm singin oh i'm singin

sound of trees with the breeze
moon is shining makes me feel
like singing oh i'm singin'

[refrain]
You got me feelin' cool yeah
flashin' like the sun
You make my bustlin' fingers
strummin' my guitar

chorus 1
all these joy and laughter
all these gladness that i feel tonight
i'd like to sing You praises
Your light illuminates and brighten up
the darkest shade of my life
You make me feel so fine

[verse]
airy night, city lights
sparkling eyes, lively sight
i'm singin' oh i'm singin'

sound of cheer on my ear
i can hear you crystal clear
im singin' oh im singin

[repeat refrain]

chorus 2
all these years You helped me
brave the stormy weathers so tonight
i'd like to sing You praises
Your light illuminates and brighten up
the darkest shade of my life
You make me feel so fine

[repeat verse 1 stanza]
[repeat chorus 1 and 2]

***just a night of gladness and joy knowing how blessed I am living my life. I couldn't ask for more of than being in the loving arms of my Heavenly Dad. So a night of singin' and me-time.

Brainstorming # 1

Why do you like music?

- Music repletes my mind and allows me to bring myself to the very nature of the song. Sometimes, I get attracted on the melody and it satiates my being, thus, making me wander in a different world, the world of the song. Music keeps me sane and connects to my soul.

How do you interpret music?

- I play it myself. I Perform it freely and it could be in various styles. Mostly, I play it on instruments. I play and sing. It could be the drums, bass, guitar, piano. And all I know it feels fabulous and I take great delight on it. Just so you know, I love to interpret it more on the piano because it's more versatile than the rest. When I do stuffs like these, I could feel the inhibitions depart from me and feels like your free from anything that binds you... then you just wanna go further your own. There, you can be yourself, express yourself, interpret it yourself and feel the music yourself. Its an amazing feeling, Really.

What kind of music do you listen?

- I do listen to many types though and songs that has catchy melodies pokes my mentality as quick as lightning.   And if we talk about genres: I don't have to mind because there's plenty that I can say that I'm feeling it. Ultimately, of course, the songs for God. The One, The Great I Am. The one who started it all. I just wanna give back all the credits to Him. You see, what attracts me the most from a certain music is how the lyrics and musicality of the song is being portrayed and it has to go along together.

Who influenced you to pursue music?

- My dad plays the guitar and sings, he could be one of the influence. My friends at home, TV, FM Radios, etc... it gave me the spark to learn how to play the guitar way back freshmen years in high school. I realized that I have it in me so I pursued it. On band/Artist area, what I have in mind is the band Incubus, and before, I don't really mind their lyrics but their musicality is remarkable. Very creative. They took me deeper in music through their style and I feel that they are different from the other band/artists. In the OPM side, I can pick the Hale band, they influenced me in their soft style alternative genre and I really enjoyed listening to their songs. Also, Bamboo band was been my favorite OPM band and they really play cool musics. Versatile, Cool and striking. Every time they perform on stage, they're just amazing. In the area of songwriting, I got struck by the style of Adam Young of Owl City. For me, He is a total genius in the area of music. I appreciate him for being such an independent individual in making musics alone. He creates art like I've never tasted before, inspiring indeed and it motivates to personally try on writing songs. Also, artists like Chris August, Secondhand Serenade, Tyler Ward, Kurt Hugo Schneider and probably many more. In terms of musicality, for me, they're awesome. I'm starting to make music my own and these guys I've mentioned above brought a big impact on me and of course I would not forget, the one I'm dedicating to write music about -- is GOD.

10 Facts about you when it comes to music:

1. I can't sleep when there is music playing and it has to be turned off unless I'm dead tired.
2. I love playing different instruments.
3. I like to sing the harmony part rather than the melody part.
4. I like to accompany singers who I think I'm confident in singing the song.
5. I write songs.
6. I like singing in the bathroom. haha.
7. I love the sound of cello and violin together.
8. I love playing the piano but I'm playing more on the guitar. LOL
9. I play musics for God at our church on Wednesdays and Sundays.
10. I dream to establish a great band and play good songs together one day.
